Cute and very stable stool, but it’s too short for use with the potty or sink even though my 2 year old is tall (36″) for his age. Our old Cosco metal-rubber topped stool works best for now since we have to help our toddler up and down anyway.

Pros: This is comfortable for my 2 year old daughter to use and, so far, seems stable and reliable. Easy to clean, good for use as a ‘potty’ stool.
Cons: The plastic quality was not consistent since there were some thin spots that made the stool look worn, I expected better quality from Fisher Price. It was received in dirty condition- some black scuff marks presumably from manufacturing or distribution.
Its use is limited since it is a short stool- it is good for the potty, but not high enough for reaching the sink

This stool is only about 7 inches high and it really doesn’t help small children reach the sink or the potty. I was disappointed because I really thought it was going to be taller.

I bought this Hippo stool thinking it would work for my not-quite-two-year-old to reach the sink for hand washing and teeth brushing. It is not high enough for her to do that, but I am still happy with the stool. My daughter loves to sit on it and she uses it in the kitchen to see when I’m cooking or making her lunch. It is light enough that she can move it around the house, which she loves to do. For the price, I’m super happy with our Hippo.

I agree with the others – this item is listed as 15 inches high but in fact it is 7 inches high which makes it useless if you wanted to use it to help a toddler reach the sink and/or potty. Frustrating that the dimensions aren’t correct, and I’m not sure how to alert Amazon to the mistake.
