When I heard DK was putting out a touch and feel book about puppies and kittens, I had to order it immediately. My grandson simply can’t get enough when it comes to his furry friends, long after they get a bit tired of his constant attention. I was actually hoping he’d fixate on petting these little creatures and leave the live ones to rest a bit.

This book was an instant hit. The cute little animals kept my grandson’s attention and he loved feeling the different textures. By the way, the distraction worked. My grandson left the poor animals alone for quite a while. I however, wasn’t so lucky. He kept bringing this book to me to read over and over again.

This is my daughter’s fav book! Every page has a tantalizing, textured animal. When she 1st discovered the sensation of rubbing the photographed animals’ fur, she sweetly exclaimed very heavenly, “Ohhhhh, Ohhhhh, Ohhhhh!” ‘Tis a fond memory I’ll cherish forever, thanks be to this book. ~rhonda bridges
